I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) dedicated to helping those who seek meaningful change in their day-to-day life. I earned my Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology at Sacramento State University (CSU) in 2010 and Master's (MA) degree in Counseling Psychology at University of San Francisco (USF) in 2012. I've been licensed in the state of California since 2018.
My background has been working with the most vulnerable populations in need of support for growth for almost 15 years. My work has included working with chronically unhoused populations for over a decade and working with Veteran’s addressing the most basic needs, including issues of Depression, Anxiety, Complex Trauma C-PTSD, PTSD, SUDs, sleep issues, and relationship Issues.
In my practice I believe the client/clients are the experts and have the capacity for real and meaningful change. I use a Humanistic, Person Centered Approach and apply different Evidence-Based Modalities including CBT, EMDR, Mindfulness, DBT, Emotional Focused Therapy, Attachment Based, Strength Based, Narrative and Solution-Focused. I believe in collaborating with the client/clients towards real goals and solutions that will lead to healthier, more sustainable, and meaningful relationships.
